SureRemove™ verification improvement

April 29th, 2012 | Posted by johngoodell in ChurchPost Features | What's New? - (0 Comments)

ChurchPost automatically adds both a header and footer to every email you send – the footer includes information about you, the sender, and two very important links: SureRemove and Change Your Email Address.

Over the past few years, we’ve noticed more and more people forwarding emails to friends and family. Although the SureRemove links have always been encrypted for each unique subscriber, when you forward a message, that link remains valid. Increasingly, we’ve noticed that recipients of forwarded emails have been unsubscribing the original recipient without knowing it by clicking the SureRemove link. Then the original subscriber wonders why they aren’t receiving emails any more :)

Today we launched an improved verification process that solves this problem while still making it incredibly easy to manage subscriptions.

This change affects both the SureRemove link and the Change Your Email link.

Version 5 of ChurchPost.com was released to all of our customers late last night.

More information will be posted on all of our channels this week, including a dedicated section of our Blog, Facebook page, and Help Center.

In the meantime, be sure to completely clear your browser cache and history, then restart your browser.

Once you have done that, navigate to ChurchPost.com and enjoy lots of new features (and a really cool new editor)…

More information coming soon!

After a year in development, our new Drag and Draw Email platform has arrived:

How can you get this amazing new tool? It will automagically appear in your ChurchPost account (look under CREATE) in the next few weeks. Of course, we aren’t getting rid of our Standard Editor…we’re just adding another great tool to communicate with your subscribers.
